Langdon recreation feasibility study - 2014
The Langdon Recreation Feasibility Study was conducted by aodbt Architecture. This study examines current amenities in Langdon and Division 4, and compares that against current and future demands, with a focus on sustainability. This study, similar to all previous recreation studies, recommends the following be pursued in Langdon:
* Indoor Ice Arena with dry pad in off-season
* Walking/Running track
* Fitness Facility
* Commercial Spaces
* Meeting Space
+ Flex Space / Banquet Facility with Theatre stage
* Food Services
* Museum Artifact Display Wall
* Indoor Field
The cost of this facility is expected to be about $10-15MM, depending on many factors. The LRC is committed to providing these amenities in Langdon, to be used by all residents of Langdon and Division 4. Let's get moving!
